Despite the economic downturn,  we still have a lot to be thankful for, most importantly as we focus on supplier diversity and workforce development in the industry we have the opportunity to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility provide for our common defense, promote welfare and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.  This is why we live in the United States of America. Purpose: This event is to remind small business owners that all Americans are called to service and everyone can make a difference.  Building upon the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and connecting his legacy with the President's commitment to Public Service, this call aims to educate and energize DOT's small business community into using their unique skills to serve others on a sustained basis.  Dial in to find out about community and public service opportunities in your local city.
