Not only do youth earn a commission on each business they signup to the directory, they are afforded the opportunity to learn different principles and practices of salesmanship.
Streets University was created to provide enterprising Black youth 12-17 and others from disadvantaged neighborhoods with a legitimate means to making money in a market economy. Our objective is to provide our students with an understanding of intermediate business concepts, target markets, salesmanship; while providing them an opportunity to earn some money and learn about wealth-building through saving and investment. Our focus is on teaching youth about commissioned, residual and leveraged income which are true pathways to financial independence.
While working the field, we will help youth involved to meet individual business owners and professionals that can help us provide even more encouragement to continue their aspirations of reaching their individual goals and endeavors.
