MoDOT is currently accepting applications for the 2015 DBE Entrepreneurship Training Program. This program provides certified DBE firms in our communities’ direction and support to grow their business.

MoDOT has offered this highly regarded training to DBE firms since 2007. There are now over 100 DBE firms in Missouri who have completed this program. Many graduates have since become highly successful businesses and we look forward to more businesses joining their ranks by applying for the next session.

This unique training program is based on the Kauffman FastTrac curriculum and utilizes a weekly workshop format for learning, including lectures by professionals with small business expertise, presentations by MODOT staff and one-on-one coaching by trained business counselors.

This year MoDOT is making available 30 full scholarshipsto DBE firm owners to attend the 2015 Entrepreneurship Training Program. MoDOT and the Federal Highway Administration view this training Program as an important investment in promoting success among DBE firms and in offering these scholarships, hope to make available this highly regarded program to all the DBE firm owners.
