PLI Academy Now Accepting Applications

The Center for Urban Families (CFUF), Practitioners Leadership Institute (PLI) is looking for candidates for the 2017 PLI Academy!

A national initiative of CFUF, the PLI Academy is an eight-month (March-October), fellowship program designed to assist human and social services field leaders, like you, to grow your network, leadership, expertise, and capacity to make a difference in the fields of, Responsible Fatherhood, Family Strengthening, Workforce Development, and/or Boys and Men of Color.

The Academy is designed to strengthen your capacity to positively impact outcomes for low-income fathers and families, and to promote sustainable field leadership on a national scale.

Academy fellows attend a mix of face-to-face and web-based engagements, coupled with application-based activities. If selected, you’ll be matched with a mentor to support your growth throughout the eight-month program. Plus, you’ll have access to content experts, philanthropists, policymakers and other key stakeholders. You’ll get the knowledge and tools you need to improve your leadership skills and capacity to impart positive change in your field of focus.

Please contact Victoria Bryan, PLI Academy Manager, with any questions or concerns regarding the application process. Victoria can be reached by email at or by phone at 410-246-1390.
