Going to Net Inclusion 2018? Consider submitting a Lightning Round proposal!
At the first Net Inclusion (which was in 2016 in Kansas City), a recurring exclamation was “I found my people”! One of the ways we help the Net Inclusion attendees to connect is by giving everyone an opportunity to share who they are and what they are doing. The Net Inclusion Lightning Rounds a time-limited and slide-limited presentation format to aid connections. The goals are to engage our digital inclusion community of practice and initiate networking at the conference. Think of it as a beacon to find the people you’d love to have a hallway conversation with.
Complete the submission form for Lightning Round presentations to request a slot. There will be a total of four (4) 30-minute Lightning Rounds during the conference. Each presenter gives a 4-minute presentation accompanied by no more than 5 slides. The Lightning Round sessions will be strictly moderated. Presentations may be grouped thematically by the Net Inclusion Planning Team.
- The deadline to submit proposals is Friday, February 16, 2018.
- All Lightning Round presenters must represent an NDIA affiliate organization. Only one Lightning Round presentation per organization will be accepted. Request Affiliate membership here.
- Acceptance emails and waiting list notification will be sent out by the end of February 23, 2018.
- If accepted, presenters must register for Net Inclusion (Early bird discount ends March 1!) and submit their slides by Friday, March 30, 2018.
